- Academic assessment is based on the grades a student achieves in individual subjects, as well as an aggregate grade.
- Academic subjects are considered only, not subjects such as Religious Studies, Ethics, Physical Education.
- Forecast results may be accepted if they are available. Each applicant will be assessed individually. Students must be able to provide documentary evidence of good school reports.
- All students must have achieved good grades in English language, if an IELTS score is not available. If not, students may be required to study in an English language program. This will particularly apply where English grades are not always reliable.
Degree Transfer is for international students with one of the following academic backgrounds:
- Students from countries where the year 12 secondary school exit qualification is not recognised by the University of Adelaide and who have achieved their year 12 qualification successfully (e.g. China, Indonesia);
- Students who do not have the required threshold aggregate TER or equivalent from Australia for direct entry into the Bachelor program but who demonstrate a good academic record in certain academic subjects;
- Students from countries where the year 12 equivalent is recognised but who have just missed out on direct entry into the Bachelor program (e.g. GCE A levels, UEC, HKALE).
